(added 8.14.04) Or make your own Coffee Flavored Kisses You will need: Food Processor Mixing Bowl Whisk Small Saucepan Large Baking Sheet Wax paper or (better yet)parchment paper Pastry bag with 1/2-inch plain tip. A lot of time and patience. Ingredients: 6 ounces bittersweet (or semi-sweet baking) chocolate --(not morsels!) 1/2 stick unsalted butter, softened 1/3 cup heavy cream 1 Tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon instant coffee mix pinch salt vegetable oil or cooking spray Steps: Break chocolate into very small pieces. Pulse chocolate and butter together in food processor until chocolate is finely chopped. In a small saucepan, over med. heat, whisk cream, salt and coffee. Bring just to a boil, then pour over chocolate mixture, in food processor and pulse until smooth. Move to bowl & let cool at room temperature until just firm enough to pipe (about 2 hours.) Oil a large baking sheet and line with wax or parchment paper. Pipe from pastry bag onto baking sheet to make (approx) 1 inch diameter kisses Chill, uncovered, until firm (overnight.)
